靈氣 Reiki

The Gift of Hands

Placing one’s hands on the body has been a fundamental act of care since ancient times.

The palm has long been regarded as the starting point of healing.

In Japanese, there are the words 「掌」Tanagokoro and 「手心」Tegokoro, both centered on the hand, suggesting that within it lies the origin of compassion and healing.

From this comes the term 「手当て」Teate , or “hands-on healing,” which reflects the belief that healing energy can flow through one’s own hands, as practiced in Reiki Ryoho.

The Gift of Reiki

Deep within the human body is a symphony of energy, with each cell vibrating to the rhythm of 「氣」 Ki.

As the Japanese saying goes, 「病は氣から」—“Illness begins with Ki”—suggesting that disruptions or imbalances in the flow of Ki can lead to physical or mental ailments.

Reiki is a universal life energy that sustains all living things.

Receiving Reiki Ryoho directs healing energy to areas of physical and mental discomfort, supporting the body’s natural ability to heal.

It enhances the flow of Ki, strengthens the immune system, restores balance, and promotes overall well-being.

People often experience deep relaxation, the release of negative thoughts and patterns, and a profound sense of inner peace and transformation.

"Reiki

is the life force

that flows through all things.

It exists within you

and within me.

The sun, the earth,

mountains, water, and trees—

animals and plants—

are all filled with Reiki,

and we are nourished and kept alive by it.

Within the whole of creation,

it guides each of us

as we seek our own path in life,

leading us

to a state of deep bliss and unconditional love.

That is Reiki."
